THIS PLAN COVERS THE LOSS OF BAGGAGE YOU TAKE ON YOUR FLIGHT.

Rental Cover Express Baggage is sold by our partner, Cover Genius Insurance Services. If your baggage is mishandled by your airline, our tracking service will locate and fast track its return.

Summary of your protection

You're protected if...

  • Your baggage is delayed. Our tracking service will locate and arrange its return. We just need your tracking number.

You're not covered if...

  • You can’t provide a baggage report, including the tracking number.
  • You don’t submit your claim within 24 hours of arrival. 
  • The event that causes your claim happens before you bought the cover, or before your trip.

How claims work

Go to rentalcover.com/claim to start your claim.
  • Provide a detailed description of the event.
For all claims we require, as a minimum, a detailed description of the event. We may request documents during the claim process such as a copy of your mishandled baggage report and tracking number. You can get these from your airline. If required documents are not provided to us the claim may be rejected or the status changed to “Pending”.

Cancellation and refunds

To cancel your travel protection please log in to your Rental Cover Account. Refunds may be available depending on your purchase date.
