How do I make a claim?

If you are a US Resident with our Collision Damage Coverage from AON, please begin the claim process directly on travelclaim.com.

All other policyholders should submit their claim at www.rentalcover.com/claim. Here's how it works:

 

Make a claim using the RentalCover.com website

 

  1. Click on ‘Make a Claim’ in the navigation menu.
  2. Submit your:
    • Reference number (this can be found on your confirmation email)
    • Email

Please prepare the following documents as the claim form requires some further information:

  • Your rental agreement
  • Your drivers licence or the licence of the driver involved in the accident
  • All correspondence regarding damages and repairs
  • The policy documents for insurance that is held with any other parties (e.g. some credit cards come free with travel insurance), and all correspondence therein (if applicable)
  • Credit card statement showing the amount deducted by the rental company
  • Invoices/receipts from the rental company

Upon entering the relevant information you will be informed of any remaining steps.

For straightforward claims expect a 7 day turnaround, depending on the complexity of the claim and availability of the above documentation to support your claim.
