How do I check if my device is eSIM compatible?

To check if your device is eSIM compatible, please follow these steps.

For iOS devices:
For iOS devices, you’ll need to check if your device is carrier-locked and if you can add an eSIM to determine whether your device is eSIM compatible.

  1. Go to “Settings” and select “General”.
  2. Then, click “About” and scroll down to where it says “Service Provider Lock”. If it says “No SIM restrictions”, it means your device is not carrier-locked and you can add an eSIM.
  3. To check if you can add an eSIM, go to your “Settings” and select “Mobile”.
  4. If you can add an eSIM to your device, you’ll see the “Add eSIM” option under “SIMs”.

If your iOS device doesn’t have a carrier lock and has the “Add eSIM” option, your device is eSIM compatible.

For Android devices:

  1. For Samsung devices, go to “Settings” > “Connections” > “SIM Card Manage”. If you see the “Add Mobile Plan” option, your device is eSIM compatible.
  2. For all other Android devices, dial and call *#06#. If you can view your EID number, your device is eSIM compatible.
If you need further assistance to check whether your device is eSIM compatible, please contact the manufacturer, seller or network provider directly.
