How do I check if my device is eSIM compatible?
To check if your device is eSIM compatible, please follow these steps.
For iOS devices:
For iOS devices, you’ll need to check if your device is carrier-locked and if you can add an eSIM to determine whether your device is eSIM compatible.
- Go to “Settings” and select “General”.
- Then, click “About” and scroll down to where it says “Service Provider Lock”. If it says “No SIM restrictions”, it means your device is not carrier-locked and you can add an eSIM.
- To check if you can add an eSIM, go to your “Settings” and select “Mobile”.
- If you can add an eSIM to your device, you’ll see the “Add eSIM” option under “SIMs”.
If your iOS device doesn’t have a carrier lock and has the “Add eSIM” option, your device is eSIM compatible.
For Android devices:
- For Samsung devices, go to “Settings” > “Connections” > “SIM Card Manage”. If you see the “Add Mobile Plan” option, your device is eSIM compatible.
- For all other Android devices, dial and call *#06#. If you can view your EID number, your device is eSIM compatible.
